All these electric car batteries are super heavy carbon producers. The idea of this screwed up government only allowing electric cars to be made you know, “for the sake of going green” is an absolute lie. Our power grid in the U.S. can barely handle powering peoples homes as it is. Thats what we have so many rolling black outs or brown outs during hot and cold months. Just imagine adding millions of cars having to charge their batteries on that grid thats powered by coal or nuclear plants. Then their stupid a$$ “green” answer is to add more wind mills that take a ton of petroleum to produce, use petroleum powered helicopters to spray petroleum products on them to de-ice them. Which the wind does not blow hard enough to power them everyday anyway. Or put up solar panels everywhere which only work well on non cloudy days and not at all at night, not to mention it takes a ton of fossil fuels to make them as well. Its all government sickness that charge the automotive companies billions if there cars don’t get a certain fuel mileage which is around 50 mpg’s. Which means the price of the car goes up and the quality of them go down so the companies can make a profit. Meaning your paying around 20-30,000$ for a complete piece of crap car that always breaks down costing a fortune to fix. All thanks to false govt regulations. Watch I guarantee they will begin putting fake regs on electric cars once they become popular. They don’t care one bit about the environment. They only want to force made up taxes on you, which is theft. Thats it. Are you really going to let them do that to you?

I will never buy or drive an electric car, people think its saving the environment but those batteries don't last forever and will leave a massive E-waste footprint, and they need power to charge the batteries, energy is not made with magic or unicorn tears. I think this push is the automotive industry trying to make everyone buy new cars and make them impossible to fix yourself, just look at Tesla as an example.
